Limoncello: An Italian, Lemon Infused Vodka Liqueur.
This first part takes 40 days for infusing.
750ml of Preferred Vodka (Grandma used Smirnoff, I am trying Kirkland’s American Vodka)
-Using a vegetable peeler, peel the skins off of the lemon. Try not to leave the white pith on the skins.
-Place skins in a glass jar.
-Pour Vodka in glass jar and seal with airtight lid. Any glass container will do, but make sure the mouth is wide enough for the lemon zest to easily come out, as you will need it to finish part 2.
-Place in a dark closet for 40 days. Shake occasionally.
